Leveling up requires the player to pray at a freed shrine and speak the correct mantra for that shrine.

To free a shrine
Obtain the rune of a shrine. Use the rune on the shrine with a pink-glowing force field. The force field will disappear once that is done, with the moonstone remaining upon the shrine. Pick up the moonstone.
Then, Talk to the shrine to pray to it. Follow the conversation and speak the mantra when asked by the shrine to do so. If thy character has the XP required, thou wilt increase by one level, and will receive the number of statistic points according to the shrine.
